The IRS has released the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting forms for the upcoming season and approved the formats created by ComplyRight Distribution Services.
“We’re excited to announce to our partners that we can now begin accepting and shipping orders.” says Richard Roddis, President.
ComplyRight will be selling the standard IRS version of the forms for employers to submit IRS copies or those using a software title compatible only with the IRS versions of the forms.
ComplyRight will also be selling the IRS approved, ComplyRight 1095-B and 1095-C forms – employee/employer copies. The ComplyRight forms differ slightly from the standard IRS versions. Although this may seem unusual, it’s not uncommon to have minor variations of the same tax form.
“We decided to modify the format of the recipient copies so they are compatible with our double window envelopes,” Roddis says. “We felt this accommodation would be appreciated by businesses mailing employee copies. And the IRS approved our alternate format.”
In addition to manufacturing and distributing the forms and corresponding envelopes, ComplyRight has developed proprietary ACA reporting software with e-file capabilities. This title is compatible with both the ComplyRight and standard IRS versions.
